Dogs Welcome at the Second Annual Father’s Day BBQ June 14th!
Father’s Day is coming up, and we’ve got the perfect way to celebrate! Bring the whole family (yes, even your dog) to the Second Annual Centennial Hills Father’s Day BBQ on Saturday, June 14th, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Mountain Crest Park in Northwest Las Vegas. Whether you’re a dad, a grandpa, or just someone who appreciates some good BBQ and fun activities, this event is going to be a blast!
What’s on the BBQ Menu (and more)?
First off, let’s talk food. The grilling kicks off at 11 AM, and you can expect hot dogs and hamburgers sizzling fresh off the grill. Perfect for those of us who can’t say no to a juicy burger!
For the little ones (and let’s be real, maybe the big kids too), there’s a Father’s Day Craft Station where you can get creative and make something special for Dad. But hurry, this part’s for the first 50 participants, so get there early!
Need something to keep your kiddos entertained while you catch up with friends? There’s also a coloring station to let them unleash their inner artists. And if you’re feeling like cooling off (or just want to see the kids splash around), the Splash Pad is ready for some water fun! Just don’t forget the towels and sunscreen because it’s going to be a hot one.
Oh, and did we mention the photobooth? Sponsored by Snap & Share, you’ll have plenty of props to create some hilarious family memories. Perfect for snapping a pic with Dad or even getting some funny shots with the dog!
Bring Your Dog Along!
Now, here’s the best part—Mountain Crest Park is dog-friendly! That’s right, bring your furry friend along to enjoy the day. The park does require you have your pup on a leash throughout your visit but there are plenty of walking paths to explore with your dog, so you can get some exercise before or after the event.
While the dogs can’t join in the Splash Pad action (sadly, it’s for humans only), there’s plenty of green space to relax in the shade with your pup by your side. Nothing says “good day” like BBQ, sunshine, and a happy dog at your feet!
A Potluck-Style BBQ for the Whole Family
What’s a BBQ without some great side dishes? This is a potluck-style event, so feel free to sin up and bring along your go-to dish. We’re talking potato salad, fruit salad, and of course, fresh fruit to keep things light and refreshing. And if you’ve got juice boxes, soda cans, or bottled water, that’s always appreciated!
The event organizers are also accepting donations of hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, condiments, and other BBQ essentials. So, if you’re in a giving mood, feel free to pitch in and help make this BBQ even better.
